The heat continues, as does the need to water regularly and frequently. Delicate stem tips and buds are being attacked by voracious blackfly which need to be squashed. The artichoke tubers have taken over their bed. Thankfully they were planted within a contained area. Bonariensis draws all manner of flying creature delicately seeking the nectar within. Some Trwyn Mochyn apples have been saved from the thieving squirrels who throw the stolen apples away once they have taken a coupe of bites. The rogue tomato plants have grown like a floppy wig and delicate yellow flowers are appearing throughout and the scented nicotiana flowers are abundant.
