Colours peek out from underfoot as flowers open out their buds. A spectrum of greens is painted across the garden. Leaves of all shapes throw off their winter protection and begin to unfurl with the longer daylight hours. Bright blue skies create beautiful backdrops for the new silhouettes. New planting and weeding have really begun to take up a lot of time alongside watering and keeping an eye out for late frosts.

The first bluebells are becoming bolder.

One of two nuthatch which begins to visit the bird feeders.

These little birds are spectacular in their single mindedness to collect food. The bluetits and robins scatter quickly, but the coal and great tits hang around and insist upon their share.

Emlyn is back! I must find out about the history of this brick.
