Butterflies, bees, hoverflies and wasps busy themselves amongst the flowers. Their buzzing drones, vibrating the busy summer air. There is no silence or stillness, only a calm and purposeful continuity.

Colours cover all of the spectrum with marvels appearing in the morning’s tiny dewdrops. Even the courgettes look content in their trough confines.

Lovely old Mabli, blind, deaf and with several other ailments enjoys the sun and the ‘buzz’ of catnip. A vagrant sunflower seed from the bird feeder has made its home in a pot. If it makes it into adulthood, it’ll have to be moved from the small pot.
